I’m recruiting businesses that are into internet marketing and social media marketing who can serve as an expert consultant to new business entrepreneurs. The University of Northern Iowa’s Regional Business Center is organizing an “EntreFest” in West Des Moines which will be held Feb. 25 and 26th. We are anticipating that there will be approximately 200 – 250 entrepreneurs at the event. This is a way to spread the word about your business and network with potential new clients.

The segment I’m recruiting for is the “Biz Info Smorgasbord” which will be Thursday, Feb 25 from 3:15 – 4:45. The event is set up like speed dating where you will be stationed at one table, the entrepreneurs will be informed of what your business does, and then at the sound of the horn, people go to your table to ask questions and get an answer from you (the marketing expert). Of course, you can pass out business cards or introductory marketing about your business to the people who stop at your table, but you don’t have to. Then for those people who want to get to know you and your company in more depth, you can spend additional time with them during the reception which will be right after this from 5:00 – 7:00 pm
