Domino’s Pizza in the Netherlands has recently come up with an ingenious marketing idea. They’ve taken delivery beyond just home and office … to the beach, the park and other areas where people may be hanging out with hungry friends. The concept comes complete with a “delivery door” that can be used as the destination for delivery people who now need a way to find people without using street signs, maps and house numbers. Even more brilliant is that the door (which includes the local Domino’s phone number) serves as a highly visible ad for the company. And, the “delivery points” are fairly mobile. 
It’s a fairly simple idea, but why didn’t anyone else think of it before now? Just goes to show what a little outside the box thinking can do. Now, think about what you can do to make doing business with your company easier? Hint: Sometimes an outside perspective can help.
