Every year, Clear Channel puts together the outy awards. The winning design will be produced and displayed FREE for 24 weeks in the Des Moines area.

While we didn’t win, we certainly thought we had a valiant effort. Here is our rejected entry:

The judges comments? “This is hilarious” and “Great visual, but negative message with small logo.”

I guess size matters when it comes to logos too! Maybe we are too humble and should’ve enhanced the size of our logo. Negative message? I guess so, but “sameness” when it comes to marketing does indeed equal lameness when it comes to your marketing approach. But, we aren’t sore losers. We actually think the winning entry by Two Rivers Marketing was very worthy of the award. Nice work guys.

A big thanks to Clear Channel for putting together this program. We had a lot of fun working on our idea.
